The final table in the London stop of the European Poker Tour (EPT) has been set. The venue for the final table is the Grosvenor Victoria Casino. The eight finalists are Eric Liu, Johannes Strassmann, Philippe D’Auteuil, Antony Lellouche, Michael Tureniec, Alan Smurfit, Marcin Horecki and Michael Martin.

Tureniec is in the lead, closely followed by Liu. PokerStars, the sponsors of the tournament, have offered a guaranteed prize of £1 million to the winner. This is the first time a guaranteed prize is being offered to the winner in an EPT tournament.

Another first for the EPT is a high roller event, which will follow at the same venue. This £1 million event has a £20,000 buy-in. The field of 85 players boasts of the biggest names in the world of poker including Andre Akkari, Victoria Coren, Barry Greenstein, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Joe Hachem, Isabelle Mercier, Dario Minieri, Chris Moneymaker, Daniel Negreanu, Luca Pagano, Greg Raymer and William Thorson.
